Miranda Mazariegos
Miranda Mazariegos is NPR's 2021-2022 Reflect America Fellow. She has worked with NPR's history podcast Throughline and with Weekend All Things Considered. She is now doing a rotation with the Culture Desk.
Prior to the fellowship, Mazariegos worked as a multimedia producer for Radio Ambulante, NPR's Spanish-language podcast. There, she focused on creating digital content to accompany podcast episodes, designing social media growth strategies and bringing the community of listeners closer to the show. She has written about Latin America, gender issues and religion for VICE News, KPCC and The GroundTruth Project, among others.
Mazariegos graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California. She is currently studying to become a certified translator in her home country of Guatemala.
