It's March 14! The day before the Ides of March, three days before St. Patrick's Day, but 3.14 is a special day all its own: Pi Day.

This year is the 30th anniversary of a whimsical holiday that celebrates the irrational, infinite, transcendent excellence of the universal constant.

In celebration, we talk with Lauren Ko, the mastermind behind the Instagram feed, lokokitchen, where her bold geometric pies have garnered her over 130,000 followers.

Taking advantage of the exponential growth, she's quit her job to focus on baking full time and joins Bill Radke in KUOW's studio to celebrate all things pie.
