Join KUOW's RadioActive Youth Media for an afternoon of unforgettable storytelling and celebration.
This summer, 20 teens from throughout the greater Seattle area have been learning about audio journalism and creating their own stories in RadioActive’s 2018 Radio Journalism Workshop. Now, six weeks later, our largest cohort ever is ready to graduate from the program and share their stories with you!
You’ll hear stories about everything from Seattle's drag scene, to the evolution of hip hop, to never before heard voices of student survivors from the Parkland shooting. You’ll also get to meet the youth journalists, get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into how these stories were made, learn more about paid opportunities for students with RadioActive and celebrate their graduation!
