Karyn Andriesen

Andriesen leads KUOW's individual and foundation fundraising efforts, including KUOW’s major gifts, grants, pledge drives and membership programs.
She has 27 years of experience in fundraising for nonprofits in the Seattle area, including Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission, Provail and the Fremont Public Association (now Solid Ground).
Andriesen holds a certificate in Non-Profit Leadership from the Strategic Leadership Institute, formerly of Seattle, Washington, and a certificate in Grant Writing from The Grantsmanship Center in Los Angeles, California. She is a graduate of Washington State University, where she studied Broadcast Communications and English.
