On Saturday, March 22, a mile-wide mudflow devastated Oso, Wash., 55 miles north of Seattle. The massive damage and mounting casualties have rocked the small community between Arlington and Darrington.

Four years later, Oso landslide memorial fundraising begins

Today marks the fourth anniversary of the deadly landslide that killed 43 people in 2014.

Snohomish county officialstoday announcedplans and a fundraising effort to construct a permanent memorial on the slide site. It's intended to provide a place where families can remember their loved ones.
