Searching for home in a wild, wild country

If you've seen the Netflix documentary series "Wild Wild Country," you might have been watching wide-eyed at the followers of a cult that turned to assassination and poisoning. Memoirist Ronit Feinglass Plank, however, was watching for something different: her mother.

She lost her mother twice to the commune: once in Pune, India, and then again at an Oregon compound called Rajneeshpuram. But as an adult, she had to come to terms with the fact that the Bhagwan hadn't forceed her mother to leave. "I think she was a seeker," says Plank. She spoke to Bill Radke about what people went to the Bhagwan to find.
