Is Amazon good for Seattle? Here at KUOW, we think that’s debatable … and so we’re having that debate Wednesday, March 7 at the SIFF Egyptian Theater. Moderated by Ross Reynolds, a panel of smart Seattleites will attempt to convince the audience to join their sides.

Arguing in favor:

  • Maud Daudon, former president Seattle Chamber of Commerce, former Deputy Mayor of Seattle
  • Marilyn Strickland, former Tacoma mayor, president and CEO Seattle Chamber of Commerce

Arguing against:

  • Cary Moon, urban planner and mayoral candidate
  • Nikkita Oliver, artist, attorney and mayoral candidate

We'll kick things off with an audience vote. Both sides will give their arguments and then you, the audience, will vote again. The team that changes the most minds wins.
