Mayoral candidates Jenny Durkan and Cary Moon at Seattle University

In the lead up to Seattle’s mayoral election on November 7, the candidates have been crisscrossing the city to debate and discuss their credentials. There have been moments of geniality and tension.

Seattle University hosted a conversation with contenders Cary Moon and Jenny Durkan. The tone was civil, and heated, at turns. If you haven’t made up your mind about who to vote for, you may find the tipping point you’re looking for here.

The candidates were questioned by Larry Hubbell, director of Seattle University's Institute of Public Service, multi-media journalist Joni Balter, and Crosscut's David Kroman.

This event took place at Seattle University’s Pigott Auditorium on October 16. Jennie Cecil Moore recorded the discussion.
