The names have been changed to protect the innocent, but Maria Semple is talking about you, Seattle

If you don’t already love Maria Semple’s Seattle-brewed writing, her new work may pull you in. Just one day in the life of protagonist Eleanor Flood will likely leave you wanting more.

Semple’s new novel is “Today Will Be Different.”  Her other works include “This One Is Mine” and “Where'd You Go, Bernadette.” She spoke at an Elliott Bay Book Company event at Town Hall Seattle on October 8. Sonya Harris recorded her talk.
