Securities are tradable interests with a financial value. They are often represented by a certificate and include shares of stocks, bonds or mutual fund units. A gift of appreciated securities is one of the most effective means of supporting KUOW while receiving income tax advantages.

Those who support KUOW through a gift of securities enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that their generosity ensures the future of public broadcasting in our region.

Stock Gifts

To make a stock gift to KUOW, simply instruct your financial advisor to transfer stock to the KUOW Puget Sound Public Radio account at the University of Washington. Here is the account information you will need:
