Marcie Sillman Will Return To Arts Reporting For KUOW

KUOW’s Marcie Sillman will return to full-time arts and culture reporting for the station this fall.

Since KUOW launched The Record in 2013, Marcie has balanced arts coverage with co-hosting the Midday newsmagazine, alongside Ross Reynolds. As KUOW leans in to its commitment to the region’s arts and culture news, Marcie will again focus her talents full time in this area, diving deeper into feature reporting.

This transition also allows time for focus on KUOW’s Front Row Center with Marcie Sillman. This will become a regular community event that brings together KUOW listeners and fellow art enthusiasts at local events and exhibits, followed by a hosted conversation with Marcie.

Listeners can look forward to regularly hearing Marcie’s reporting on The Record, as well as during Morning Edition and All Things Considered, throughout the day.

KUOW’s The Record will continue weekdays from noon to 1 p.m. with host, Ross Reynolds. Marcie’s last day of co-hosting The Record will be Friday, Sept. 4.
