Feds Search Seattle Coach’s Home For Child Porn

The US Department of Homeland Security has searched the home of a Seattle coach and substitute teacher at The Bush School for evidence he was producing and distributing child pornography.

Canadian police arrested Jason Paur, 42, last month at a ski resort in British Columbia, where he was on a trip with student athletes.

A federal search warrant unsealed on Wednesday says a chaperone on the trip called police after students -- girls ages 14 to 16 -- found a camera recording them in their room.

Another chaperone said Paur admitted he had set up the camera.

Police arrested and charged him.

The next day US agents seized cameras, computers, hard drives and video cassettes from Paur’s Green Lake home.

Paur had been a coach and substitute teacher at The Bush School for 15 years. He was a freelance reporter for KUOW between 1999 and 2006.

His bail hearing in British Columbia is scheduled for Jan. 29.
