Brendan Sweeney

Year started with KUOW: 2017

As Managing Producer for Local Content, Brendan oversees KUOW’s locally produced broadcast and podcast shows.

Prior to coming to KUOW, Brendan was the Managing Producer for New Content and Innovation at WAMU 88.5 in Washington, D.C.

Brendan served as an “inside collaborator” for AIR’s Localore: Finding America project, helping develop and launch a neighborhood storytelling project called “Anacostia Unmapped.” He also launched Metropocalypse, a weekly podcast with reporter Martin DiCaro exploring the deterioration of the region’s mass transit system.

He previously served as the Managing Producer of the Kojo Nnamdi Show.
